This is a Club Ride, it’s not an event. There are no entry fees, no donations, no membership requirements, nothing. Just come ride with a few fellow Club members. Don’t worry about crowds – these are small, social functions. We also provide dinner on Saturday night. Feel free to bring a dish to pass, but don’t feel obligated.

Two loops. Street legal bikes only. There is direct trail access via open county road.

Two loops. Street legal bikes only. There is riding opportunity for unlicensed bikes/ORVs just not on the routes we are using.

GLDS receives grant from Yamaha

Yamaha awards the Great Lakes Dual Sporters a grant for our Trail Bed Restoration Project.

The grant was part of Yamaha’s Outdoor Access Initiative GRANT program.

GLDS will be using these funds to create a trail-grading rig. It will be used to remove the “whoops” from the trails, making for a more enjoyable riding experience and more importantly, keeping riders on the trail instead of making bypasses to miss the rougher sections.

Members of GLDS’s Trail Maintenance Crew were on-hand to take delivery of the new Yamaha Grizzly 700 from St Helen PowerSports of St Helen, Michigan. St Helen is one of the communities that GLDS supports with their annual Toys for Kids Fundraiser and is near the Geels ORV Trail that GLDS maintains through a grant with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources ORV Program.

GLDS Annual Club Meeting

Noon on Saturday, March 14th, 2015 at the Alma Comfortable Inn, in St Louis, Michigan

Annual club meeting, new and prospective members welcome!

Our annual meeting is Saturday, March 14th. It starts at noon and will end by five. We will be providing food and soft drinks. You are welcome to bring a dish to pass, but this is a catered event so no need (or just bring desert). Major thanks to everyone who has brought the delicious sides and deserts at the last meetings, it’s been great stuff!!

GLDS Annual Club Meeting

Noon on Saturday, March 8th, 2014 at the Dell Event Center in St Johns, Michigan

Our annual meeting is Saturday, March 9th. It starts at noon and will end by five. We will be providing food and soft drinks. You are welcome to bring a dish to pass, but this is a catered event so no need (or just bring desert). GLDS Toys for Kids 2014

Toys for Kids 2014

Oct 11-12, 2014. St Helen, MI

This is a Club Charity Function, it’s not an event. No money, just come help out a great local charity. There’ll be some riding too, if you are interested. Food included in the price and the price is still FREEEE. Dinner on Saturday.

Please bring a new toy to donate to the local Toys for Kids charity (not required, but highly recommended). Toys can be for any age and of any value. New toys only, please.
